Strangers

One of the major parts of going to college is a completely new setting. New location, new home, and mostly, new people. The first day, you walk in to your dorm and you meet the strangers you will be spending the next two semesters with. Classes start, and there are more strangers to meet. There are strangers in the elevator, strangers in the lounge, strangers all around you.

One night, a few strangers knocked on the door. Upon opening the door, I discovered three boys who had lived in our room previously. They told me how they had thrown up all over the living room and urinated in one of the bedrooms. Just what you want to hear. They clearly wanted to be invited in, but I was alone, and they were annoying me with their tales of drunkenness. They eventually departed, after realizing they were not being invited in. A few days later, some more boys showed up. Since almost everyone was around, we invited them in. They also told us of how they threw up all over the living room.

So thank you strangers, you certainly keep our lives interesting.
